LEAD is a 6-week program designed to help teens (ages 12-18) develop the skills needed to succeed in the workforce - and in life!

This might be perfect for you if:

  • You're ready to challenge yourself and grow,

  • You enjoy working with others,

  • You want to make a positive impact,

  • You're interested in gaining real-world leadership experience, and/or

  • You want to build skills that will help you succeed in future jobs and opportunities!

LEAD is a comprehensive training initiative which prepares teens to take on leadership roles in movement, sports, or wherever else their career aspirations may take them.

All participants start in the Leadership Series. Weekly sessions cover highly in-demand soft skills like Professionalism, Self-Awareness, Effective Communication, Team Dynamics, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making. Participants also gain practical experience in resume writing and interviewing.

Those interested in continuing their training may choose to enroll in our Coaching Series (you may also take both concurrently). Weekly sessions cover skills such as Building Confidence and Authority, Managing Group Dynamics, Effective Session Planning, Setting Goals, Progressions & Regressions, and Conflict Resolution.

Upon successful completion of the LEAD program, teens may choose to apply for volunteer or paid positions at The Movement Park to gain real-world job experience!

Those hired for paid positions at The Movement Park become eligible for a 50% refund of their registration fee after six months of continued employment as recognition of their hard work and dedication to leadership development.
